COVID-19 Update: Dear students and families, in light of current COVID-19 pandemic, the University plans to hold Spring and Summer term classes online only. As a result, in an effort to put everyone’s health, safety, and well-being first, all in-person K-12 programs have been canceled for this summer. We look forward to serving you in the future. Feel free to visit the University’s website for other U-M COVID-19 updates.

The Center for Engineering Diversity & Outreach (CEDO) provides expertise, leadership, and programming that supports the College of Engineering’s belief that an excellent educational experience is intrinsically linked to fostering a climate that celebrates diversity, equity, and inclusion for faculty, staff, and students.

CEDO plays a vital role in the implementation of the College’s strategic plan for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our programming is designed to help develop highly sought-after engineering talent while exposing pre-collegiate students to the field of engineering and encouraging them to attend Michigan Engineering. CEDO also assists with the recruitment of students from communities that are traditionally underrepresented and underserved in engineering while working with current students to help with their academic, personal, and professional development.
