Galaxy Girls
Current 8th & 9th graders

Galaxy Girls is a 7-day residential program for current 8th and 9th-grade students. During the program, participants will live in University housing, tour the campus and become immersed in fundamental disciplines of Aerospace Engineering and space science at the nation’s oldest aerospace program.

The University of Michigan started the first collegiate aeronautics program in the United States in 1914. But it doesn’t stop there. Both our undergraduate and graduate programs rank in the Top 5 in the nation by U.S. News and World Report.
