Brief Job Descriptions
Residential Facilitator – Lives in the residential hall and works with residential staff to develop supportive and encouraging relationships with visiting students and develop engaging evening and weekend activities.
Instructor – Certified teacher or PhD candidate or graduate only; collaboratively plan and enact engineering curriculum for engineering concepts, math, or technical communications classes.
Academic Facilitator – Develops supportive and encouraging relationships with students, work with instructors in classrooms to help deliver curriculum, help students understand the content of their courses.
Program Coordinator – Develops programming for visiting students for times when they are not in class or interacting with residential staff; organize tours, develop activities, arrange for student panels, collaborate with instructors to develop connectedness between class work and out of class activities.
Office Assistant – Interface and communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds while providing back-up front desk coverage and assisting with the Summer Engineering Academy.
